Our Process

  • We inventory existing conditions and understand your project goals. Doing a deep dive into your brand’s essence we acquire a feeling for your space. We research your audience and formulate the best way to reach them. We analyze the built environment of your competitors and understand visual benchmarks for your target markets.

  • We provide concepts that are unique to your space and brand’s identity and align with your programming goals. We will solidify the space plan, concept brand-driven graphics, and share interior design concepts, all visualized in three dimensions.

  • We transform the approved concepts into three dimensional visualizations, detailed floor plans and elevations to be coordinated with other industry professionals. We sample finishes and materials and refine graphic packages as we finesse the final details.

  • We build final design intent guides to make your concepts a reality, prepare art files to go to print, and finalize FF&E spec sheets for client procurement. Your final design intent document, encompassing all phases of creative, is delivered to you at the end of this phase.

  • We are small and nimble, offering specialty retail experience design services focused on the outdoor industry. We don’t use templates or one-size-fits-all solutions, we know every brand deserves a unique solution.

    We love to coordinate with your architect, millworkers, installers, and visual merchandisers. If you need a recommendation for additional resources, we are here to help.

  • We love to fully devote ourselves to a small number of projects at a time. When it’s your moment to shine we serve you to our fullest extent. Operating in focused design sprints allows for speedy turnaround times unique to the industry, saving you both time and money.

  • We engage with you through a series of designer-client collaborative creative sessions to develop a comprehensive design and build schedule. We value your input because you’re the true expert in your brand.

  • We use materials that will last the lifetime of your retail experience, while looking for opportunities to reduce harm to our planet. We aren’t perfect, but we can make small yet impactful moves such as using natural materials, minimizing petroleum based products, leaning into the existing architecture of the space, repurposing, and at times just using less.

  • We put the control in your hands by giving you the tools to a successful retail experience. We will deliver you a complete design intent with everything you need to make your concept a reality.

    From here, you have the tools you need to pursue procurement which is the purchasing, tracking, and installation of furnishes, fixtures, & equipment. If you hit a snag we can re-engage services to propose alternates due to discontinuations, budget, or other unexpected changes.
